ENSURING EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR STUDENTS
CREEED supports initiatives that provide teachers and administrators with increased professional and leadership development opportunities. Our efforts focus on attracting, training and developing educators that can provide results for students across the region.
Highly trained and motivated principals and teachers are key to increasing student educational attainment. They set expectations and culture on campus and the classroom; and can drive results for their student populations. In order for our region to strengthen the quality of learning taking place at our schools, we need to provide our educators with the knowledge and training they need to succeed. That knowledge and training should align with in-demand careers and skills required of students to convert their learning and education into lifelong opportunities.

The lessons drawn from other examples of increasing educational attainment are a primary consideration. CREEED also encourages dialogues between the academic and professional communities about the needs of El Paso’s future workforce and how school curricula can better align with these needs.
Teacher Development
Teachers play an essential role in increasing student educational attainment. They are the gatekeepers for educational outcomes in our region. In addition to efforts that strengthen school leadership, CREEED is equally focused on identifying and supporting initiatives that can attract and produce more skilled teachers in our region.
