ONE DISTRICT LEADING THE REGION IN ALGEBRA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">For the third consecutive year, Socorro ISD middle schools sweep CREEED\u2019s AIM High awards<\/span><\/i><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:2,&quot;335551620&quot;:2,&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">El Paso, TX \u2013 <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">CREEED celebrated the third year of its Algebra in Middle (AIM High) initiative<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">, once again recognizing five Socorro Independent School District (SISD) middle schools for leading the region in Algebra 1 performance. <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">For three consecutive years, every one of the region\u2019s top-performing middle schools in Algebra 1 has come from SISD,<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\"> underscoring the district\u2019s consistent excellence in preparing students for advanced math and college readiness.&nbsp;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">The AIM High initiative <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">honors and rewards all faculty and staff at the top-performing middle schools, recognizing that success takes teamwork across teachers, administrators, and support staff. To be considered, middle schools must have at least 90% of their students taking Algebra 1. Considered a \u201cgateway course,\u201d research shows that students passing Algebra I in 8<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> grade are more likely to enroll in advanced math and succeed in college.
