HELPING PARENTS SHAPE THEIR CHILDREN’S EDUCATION
Research shows that when parents get involved with their child's school or school district, the benefits extend beyond test scores. For El Paso students to be successful, parents need to be part of the educational decision making process. As the best advocates for their child's education, parents must ensure all students have access to a high quality education across the region. But to do so, parents must have information and knowledge about what choices and programs are available for their child; how to access these opportunities; key metrics that show the quality of education being taught; and what can be done to ensure greater success at a school level.
CREEED offers parents a way to stay informed and provides information that empowers them to help make our education system stronger. Some of the ways parents can get involved include signing up for our parent updates, attending our Parent Talks sessions or Parent Workshops, and taking a virtual or in-person tour of high quality schools in our region.
