To succeed in the 21st Century workforce, all students deserve to attend a top-performing school, be prepared for college, and complete some level of education beyond high school.

CREEED is for Increasing Student Attainment Increasing Educator Development Increasing Parent & Community Engagement

CREEED is leading efforts to increase educational attainment and improve student performance in the El Paso region. We are focused on significantly expanding the number of high-performing schools and high-quality opportunities offered to students to ensure their success.

Our efforts fall into four categories: Increasing Student Attainment, Increasing Educator Development, College Completion and Career Readiness, and Increasing Parent and Community Engagement.

Student Attainment

Ensuring more students are college ready with the ability to pursue, excel in, and complete a post-secondary degree or certification program beyond high school

Educator Development

Ensuring all schools in El Paso have high-quality teachers and school leaders that prepare students for college and improve their academic performance

College Completion & Career Readiness

Removing barriers to college completion and increasing postsecondary attainment for all students in the region.

Since we launched the CREEED #educatorexternship in 2023, we have matched 21 educators with a regional business for a week-long externship. The externship provides them with real-world experience to help them connect their classroom lessons with the skills students need to enter the workforce after graduation. This year, we expanded the externship program and matched 15 educators. As a result, 1,980 students across El Paso have been able to link their classroom learning to new career possibilities in the region. #10yearsofcreeedLearn more: www.creeed.org/2024/08/14/connecting-classrooms-to-careers/ ...
